According to a new research report from InfoTrends entitled Online Photo Services End-User Research: 2008, social networks are dominating the photo viewing and uploading space. Among survey respondents, nearly 40% of those who upload photos to the Internet do so most often on MySpace or Facebook.

One of the big news items this week had to be the startling revelation many folks had on the morning of August 12th -- their VMware ESX virtual machines couldn't be powered on. And they couldn't figure out why!

R.I.P. - Dorival Caymmi Dies at age 94 August 16th, 2008 Filed under: R.I.P., News/Calendar/Industry by E.S. Day (Source -Reuters) - Brazilian singer-songwriter Dorival Caymmi, who rose to fame in the 1930s by writing a hit song for Carmen Miranda and became known as the grandfather of bossa nova, died on Saturday. He was 94. Caymmi, who like many of Brazil’s musical greats was from the northeastern state of Bahia, died of multiple organ failure at his home in the Copacabana district of Rio

Man murdered on Greyhound bus

Wednesday night 36 passengers on a Greyhound bus were traveling peacefully from Edmonton, Alberta to Winnipeg, Manitoba. No one on the bus were prepared for the horror they were about to witness. Passengers that witnessed the murder said that the two men were sitting in the back of the bus and the victim appeared to either be sleeping or listening to music through his headphones.
