The word you do not get on the nightly news is the the Iraqi Army is now effectively engaging the illegal militias in the heart of their own territory, Sadr City. The New York Times wrote that the Iraqi Army supported by US assetts effectively split Sadr City in two.

Already angered by the price of the blockbuster in Australia - $120 compared to $US60 ($64) in North America - gamers have reacted with outrage to news that developer Rockstar has edited the game for Australia in order to obtain an MA15+ rating. Many gamers said they cancelled their orders with Australian shops and will import an uncut version.

Beset by huge fuel cost increases and nagging inspection issues with its mainline fleet of MD-80s, American Airlines said today it will accelerate the delivery of new Boeing 737s into its fleet. American's CEO Gerard Arpey said accelerating the delivery of the 737s will help the airline reduce its fuel and maintenance costs over the MD-80s which average some 17 years old.
