A year ago today, I recall reading news stories covering the Tlatelolco Massacres and how organizers were gearing up to observe the 40th Anniversary which is today. The Tlatelolco Massacres is considered to be one of the most macabre and controversial events in Mexico's history resulting in the deaths of thouasands of students demonstrators.

The biggest criticism I tend to get on the blog is that I don’t post frequently enough. That is a fair complaint given how much time I have to write as I wish I had more, but when I have something I deem important to say, rest assured I say it :). Post frequency on this blog isn’t the highest, but I like to tell myself that post quality is. Personally I value the blogs I read based on the quality, and not the frequency of posting, but as you’ll see below, the rest of the world is likely not in

No, Michelle Golden is not one of the Top 100 people. (Not yet, anyway. Yeah, still working on that). However, this blog actually got a kind mention on page 8 of Accounting Today's Sep 22-Oct 5 issue's "Top 100 Most Influential People" (in the accounting industry) supplement. A sidebar entitled "Surfing with the T100" says that Top 100 honorees were asked who they read on the web: Among the more popular blogs mentioned were those of T100 members Rita Keller and Paul Caron and T100 alum David
